About Botanic Avenue
Botanic Avenue is a road of red-brick houses, mostly terraced, with an end-of-terrace among them. Homes are typically 88 to 106 m², with two or three bedrooms, three being most common. Several have been extended and a couple have converted attics. Original period features such as fireplaces and iron railings are common, and condition ranges from modernised to needing updating.
Botanic Avenue is a tree-lined road close to Drumcondra Village, with its cafés, shops and restaurants. The National Botanic Gardens, Griffith Park and Albert College Park are within walking distance. Drumcondra rail station, the Luas Cross City line and a Quality Bus Corridor serve the area, and the city centre, Croke Park, Dublin Airport and the M50 are easy to reach. DCU, St Patrick's College and Beaumont Hospital are nearby.
