About the road

About Shandon Crescent

Shandon Crescent is made up mostly of terraced and end-of-terrace houses, with a few built in the 1930s and others in the 1950s. Homes range from about 92 to 147 m², and most have three bedrooms, with some four. Several have been extended, a few have period features, and one has an attic conversion. Condition runs from fully renovated to in need of updating.

Shandon Crescent is a quiet, tree-lined road just off Phibsborough Road and Connaught Street. Phibsborough Village, with its shops, cafés and restaurants, is a short walk away, as is the Luas Cross City Green Line. Mount Bernard Park, Shandon Pitch and Putt Club, the Royal Canal Walkway, the Phoenix Park, the Botanic Gardens, TU Grangegorman, the Mater Hospital and Dublin City University are all nearby. The city centre, the M50 and the M1 are easily reached, and a quality bus corridor serves the area.
