About the road

About Bath Avenue

Bath Avenue is a road of Victorian houses, mostly terraced, with a detached house and an end-of-terrace among them. Homes range from about 117 to 181 m², with three to five bedrooms, most often three. Several keep original features such as high ceilings and fireplaces, a few have been extended, and many have south-facing rear gardens.

Sandymount Village and Ballsbridge are a short walk away, with cafés, restaurants and shops. Lansdowne Road DART station is a few minutes on foot, and several bus routes serve the area. Nearby are the Aviva Stadium, the RDS, Lansdowne Lawn Tennis Club, Herbert Park, Sandymount Strand and Grand Canal Dock. Schools include St Michael's College, Muckross Park, St Conleth's and Blackrock College. Dublin Airport is reached via the Port Tunnel.
