About the road

About Foster Terrace

Foster Terrace is a row of mostly terraced houses, with one semi-detached, ranging from about 76 to 101 m². Most have three bedrooms, though some have two. Several are red-brick, and a couple keep period features such as fireplaces and ornate plasterwork. Many have been modernised or renovated, and all of the homes have been extended. One has a converted attic.

Foster Terrace is within walking distance of the city centre, O'Connell Street and Henry Street. Fairview Park, St Anne's Park, Clontarf Promenade and Dollymount Strand are nearby, as is Croke Park. Drumcondra and Fairview villages have shops, cafés and restaurants, with Aldi and Lidl a short walk away. Drumcondra station, DART, Luas and bus routes serve the area, with the IFSC, DCU, Dublin Airport and the M1 and M50 within easy reach.
